Vanti sets the stage at Wythenshawe Forum Library’s Creative Space with Doughty’s Easydeck.
As part of Wythenshawe’s regeneration, the Forum Library’s Creative space is an expansion of the library facilities and gives locals increased access to creative opportunities. To help with this boost to the local cultural scene, Vanti Stage was tasked by Manchester City Council to install new lighting and staging to support the new creative performance space. Vanti Stage was given a brief that required a staging solution that was both practical and flexible.
Vanti Stage chose Doughty’s Easydeck for its simplicity and versatility. Easydeck Square Modules were supplied, and Vanti Stage also purchased additional staging to create an accessibility ramp. The staging needed to adapt the various types of performance and workshops and be quick and easy to install, dismantle and rearrange as required. The reliable and sturdy system allows for multiple layout options, making it an ideal long-term solution for a multi-use community performance space.

Easydeck Square Modules
An extremely strong mild steel box section stage frame 1M X 1M manufactured in three standard heights, 250mm, 500mm, and 750mm. Because of its modular nature Easydeck is easy to store and easy to transport and the size makes it easy for one person to assemble a large stage if required. Powder coated black and custom sizes are available to special order.
